Are We There Yet

This writing gig is like a road trip with the kids used to feel. Two hours of reading the map and another two wishing you were anywhere else!

OK, maybe not that bad, but the pain of not knowing where you are or when you'll arrive at the destination is a fairly apt description of being an author.

And that doesn't begin to describe the agony of being the partner of the writer! This poor sot has to be pilot, co-pilot and cabin crew at any given time and dependent upon any of their artistic others flight of fancy.

Life is hard enough folks. Let's praise where praise is over due! The writer's significant other...perhaps not the muse, but surely a saint!
