It is my humble and time-worn belief, that you can never have enough happiness. I say "humble" because so many others have better described their own assessments of what makes them happy; scaling mountains, trekking deep forests, running marathons; the list goes on.
But I have come to understand that achieving the big "highs" in life, doesn't need to take me further out of the routine of living it, than reaching for my next creamy coffee, or melting int a bear hug from my husband, or being with people I enjoy.
I've only been able to reach the summit on mountains of laundry, the forest of Redwoods I've walked through, were too endless and daunting in their beauty to count as a mere hike and I'd only run if there was a large animal in pursuit of my ice cream cone.
Guess it doesn't take much to make me happy. It takes everything and a double dip chocolate, please.
